THE Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie love triangle has captivated fans for years.

And now a celebrity stylist has revealed the “affair dress” that they claim sealed the end of Jennifer and Brad’s marriage.

On episode seven of Netflix’s Styling Hollywood, stylist Jason Bolden is on the hunt for the first Grammy dress for his new client Eve.

He heads to Irene Albright’s fashion library and design showroom for inspiration, and here is introduced to what the curator calls “The Affair Dress”.

Irene holds up the Giambattista Valli ostrich feather dress, and explains: “This is what caused the break-up of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt … Angelina Jolie, the W Magazine.

“Do you remember that spread? … That was the beginning of their affair.”

The dress was worn by Angelina in a photoshoot for W entitled Domestic Bliss: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at Home.

The 60-page spread was published in July 2005 and sees Angelina and Brad (at the time co-stars in spy comedy Mr and Mrs Smith) pose as a mid-century married couple.

The backdrop is a retro Palm Springs with kids playing in the garden – and the 𝑠e𝑥y dress features half-way through the spread.

Angelina can be seen wearing the silk velvet and tulle gown as she poses with hunky Brad in a shirt and tie.

While it can’t be proved that this dress was partly responsible for the marriage breakdown, it does fall within the timeline of the marital woes.

Mr and Mrs Smith was filmed in early 2004, four years after Brad had married Friends star Jennifer.

Angelina denies anything physical took place on set, but she admitted they fell in love during filming and there were rumours of them growing extremely close.

Jennifer and Brad announced they were separating in January 2005 – one year after Mr and Mrs Smith production took place – and they filed for divorce in March.

Brad and Angelina were doing reshoots for the film at the time and began going on holiday together in April 2005, which was around the time of the W shoot.

So while the dress wasn’t directly linked the break-up, as they had already split, the shoot was certainly a nod to their new “domestic bliss”.

Mr and Mrs Smith was released in June 2005 and the spread featured in the July edition.

Angelina announced the couple were expecting a child in January 2006, which fully confirmed their status as the new Hollywood “it couple”.

They dated for aorund nine years, before tying the knot in August 2014.

At the time they had a number of kids together; Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox.

The couple filed for divorce in September 2016 following an incident on a plane when Brad allegedly lost control of himself and clashed with son Maddox.

The Hollywood couple then released a joint statement where they stated they’d agreed to settle their divorce in private.

Earlier this summer, The Sun Online exclusively reported how Brad attended Jen’s star-studded birthday bash in February to publicly announce that they are still on good terms.
