BRAD Pitt’s girlfriend Ines de Ramon and her ex-husband have been hit by some unfinished business, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.

Jewelry executive Ines, 30, and her Vampire Diaries star ex Paul Wesley, 41, were jointly slapped with a tax lien earlier this year, public records show.

The pair were ordered by a court to pay almost $12,700 to New Jersey’s division of taxation in July.

Ines and Paul began dating in 2018, tied the knot in 2019 and quietly split three years later in 2022.

A tax lien is a legal claim against the real estate or other assets of a person or business who fails to pay taxes owed.

If the debt is not repaid, assets may be seized.

Little is known about Ines’s family background, although she is thought to originally be from New Jersey despite spending much of her early life in Switzerland. She is currently based in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Paul was born Paweł Tomasz Wasilewski to a Polish family based in Marlboro Township, New Jersey.

Oscar-winner Brad, 59, has also recently had legal problems of his own over taxes.

On November 24, a court upheld a ruling that the Chateau Miraval vineyard he bought in 2008 in the south of France with ex-wife Angelina Jolie had been undervalued to minimize its tax burden.

The Administrative Court of Appeal of Marseille found that the sprawling 1,200-acre estate in the picturesque Var region had been underpriced by 21 million euros ($22.6m).

‘FIRST PROPER RELATIONSHIP’

Brad was first spotted with brunette beauty Ines at a Bono concert in Los Angeles in November last year.

It was recently confirmed that it is his first serious girlfriend after splitting from Angelina in 2016.

A source told People last month: “This is Brad’s first proper relationship since the divorce.

“He introduces [Ramon] as his girlfriend.

“It’s great to see him in a good place. Ines makes him very happy.”

The confirmation came after Brad and Ines made a public appearance together at an event in Los Angeles.

Although they did not pose for photos, they were spotted enjoying themselves together at the annual LACMA Art+Film Gala.

Despite finding happiness with Ines, Brad has been through turbulent times recently.

His relationship with his kids has been particularly fraught since his bitter split from Angelina.

Last month it emerged that their son Pax, 19, had branded him a “world-class a**hole” and a “terrible and despicable person” in a resurfaced online post.

In the youngster’s Instagram rant in 2020, Pax, then 16, went on to claim the A-lister made his kids “tremble in fear”.

The star’s inner circle called the allegations a “depressing” smear.

A close friend told the The Sun: “Brad has great respect for all of his children and it’s depressing to see this dragged up.

“It’s frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of ‘bad person’ when it’s far from the truth.

“He chooses to keep a dignified silence and that speaks volumes.”Brad and Angelina, 48, have six kids — they adopted Pax, plus Maddox, now 22, and Zahara, 18, and also have their biological children Shiloh, 17, and 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

The former Hollywood power couple have also been locked in a legal battle over their French vineyard.

Brad sued Jolie in February 2022 over her decision to sell her portion of the property without his consent.

He accussed his ex of acting “vindictively” and claimed she sought to “inflict harm” on him.

Meanwhile, Angelina’s former company filed a $350 million counter-suit alleging that Brad wanted control over the company as payback for their split and their acrimonious child custody battle.

A court filing from July from Angelina’s former investment company Nouvel accused Brad and “co-conspirators” of “stripping” and “looting” Chateau Miraval’s assets.

The documents said: “Pitt wasted the company’s assets, spending millions on vanity projects, including more than $1 million on swimming pool renovations, building and rebuilding a staircase four times, and spending millions to restore a recording studio.”

The U.S. Sun reached out to reps for Paul and Ines for comment on their tax lien.
