A newly-single Cardi B twerked into the New Year while partying at a Sydney nightclub on Monday night.
The rapper, 26, was joined by her entourage as she showcased her raunchy dance moves shortly after the clock struck midnight.
Cardi’s lively performance would suggest she has moved on from her controversial arrival in the country on Saturday, which saw her publicist Patientce Foster angrily confront an elderly woman at Sydney Airport.

A video shared to Instagram showed Cardi screaming, ‘Happy new year to me!’, while twerking enthusiastically as she entered 2019.
While in the nightclub, she stuck out her tongue and vigorously gyrated her curvy derrière to the hip hop music that was playing in the background(nh)
Patientce could also be seen dancing around the singer, laughing and smiling without a care in the world.
Cardi had delighted fans at Perth’s Origin Fields Festival on Sunday night, twerking on stage with just as much enthusiasm.
During her NYE celebrations, Cardi wore a sparkling, white fishnet dress which revealed her nude-coloured underwear below.
Accessorising her look, she swapped the red wig she wore in Perth on Sunday night for a long blue wig.
In another Instagram post from Monday night, the musician rapped along to her own lyrics when Twerk by City Girls ft. Cardi B played in the club.
A carefree Cardi showed no sign of strain as she celebrated New Year’s Eve, despite being involved in a confronting incident at Sydney Airport on Saturday.
A woman named ‘Jane’ was physically threatened by the rapper’s publicist Patientce shortly after the star and her entourage arrived in Australia.
Following the incident, Cardi herself said she wished her employee ‘spat’ on Jane.
The clash occurred after Jane told Cardi it was ‘no wonder [her] husband left’ – referring to her estranged spouse Offset – after witnessing the musician deliberately avoiding her Australian fans by hiding under a blanket.
‘There were so many young kids that just wanted a picture with her and she ignored them and put a blanket over her head,’ Jane later told Daily Mail Australia.
‘B***h, I’ll smack the s**t out of you! Don’t ever come out your mouth about her motherf**kin’ husband!’ Patientce screamed at Jane in footage from the airport clash.
In a since-deleted Instagram video, Cardi discussed the incident afterwards, saying: ‘That’s my b***h, that’s my home girl. As a matter of fact, I am mad at Patientce.
‘You wanna know why I’m mad at her? Because she should have spit in that f**king lady’s face, that’s why!’
Patientce also took to Instagram to address the incident and defend her professional reputation, writing: ‘Understand me. Won’t no job title ever change me or who I am.’
