Considered to be one of the most natural and gifted female talents in the film industry, whether it be her performance in front of the camera or her absolutely beautiful visage, Angelina Jolie possesses everything that a top Hollywood star requires and then some.

She’s so talented that she brings anything that she does on-screen to life. This ability, however, once landed her in a lot of trouble when she had to build her on-screen chemistry with co-star Antonio Banderas to the point that people started to think she and her co-star were being disloyal to their partners in real life.

In their 2001 erotic thriller Original Sin, both Jolie and Banderas had to play the roles of a married couple that were traversing the paths of matrimony. Therefore, the film had some very passionate and intimate explicit scenes that these stars executed to perfection.

But soon enough, rumors started to spread about the two and how they were being disloyal in their marriages. Having enough of these rumors, the Eternals star clarified in an interview that she would never even date, let alone cheat with Banderas as both of them had loving partners that they cared about. She said:

“You’re talking about a man who is deeply in love with his wife [actress Melanie Griffith], and married, he has beautiful children with her, and they’re such a great family. And I’m madly in love my husband [actor Billy Bob Thornton], we have such a great relationship, and the idea that either one of us would, would want anything more than our marriages is really insulting and angering.”

Therefore, with this statement, she shut down all the rumors and proved where her loyalties lay.
