Al Nassr 'line up huge double transfer' to appease Cristiano Ronaldo after Saudi Super Cup humiliation

The two signings would be massive for the Saudi club.

Al Nassr are reportedly looking to complete a massive double signing this summer to appease star striker Cristiano Ronaldo who was visibly angered by his side’s loss in the Saudi Super Cup.

Ronaldo faced a humbling loss in the final of the Saudi Super Cup last weekend, with his team Al Nassr losing 4-1 to Al Hilal in the final in Abha, Saudi Arabia.

After taking the lead, Al Hilal scored four goal in a row to win the match and after the second, Ronaldo was seen making a sleeping gesture to mock his teammates and accuse them of being responsible for the loss.

And now, the Saudi club are reportedly looking to bring in two massive players that are close to Ronaldo in order to please their star player.

The first of the two signings that the club are reportedly interested in, is Sergio Ramos, who played with Ronaldo for nine years at Real Madrid.

Journalist José Félix Díaz claims that the club are in contact with the brother of Ramos to see if a transfer for him would be possible this window.

After leaving Real Madrid, Ramos played alongside Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr at Paris Saint-Germain before returning to boyhood club Sevilla for one season.

Ramos is currently a free agent, meaning that the door is open for a transfer to Al-Nassr, should a deal between the club and player materialise.

The second player that Diaz claims could be set to a move to Al Nassr to play alongside Ronaldo, is his Portuguese teammate Rafael Leao.

In recent weeks, the AC Milan winger has also been linked with Barcelona but Diaz has said that the 25-year-old is close to making move to the Saudi Pro League, with the deal said to be worth

€70million.

But a transfer seems unlucky as, in February, Leao vowed to commit his future to Milan, having joined the club in 2019.

He said: “My future is at AC Milan. I’m here and I still have a four-year contract. Milan helped me when I was in a very difficult situation, they stood by me. I don’t forget, I am loyal. I arrived as a young boy, here I have grown as a man and as a footballer. I want to win again, my head is here.”
