After Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes debuted a celebratory BFF handshake over the weekend, Patrick Mahomes said he’s ready to create an even better one with the singer’s beau, Travis Kelce.

“I need to talk to Travis, because me and Travis don’t even have a handshake yet,” the 28-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback said during his Thursday interview with Kansas City’s KCSP radio station, per Us Weekly.

“So I mean, they’re ahead of the game on us. So we’re gonna have to get on the whiteboard, and we’re gonna figure out a handshake so that we can try to one up theirs.”

He confidently added, “Yeah, we’re gonna work on it. We’ll get it ready for you.”

The “Anti-Hero” hitmaker and mother of two have reportedly formed a quick bond amid the singer’s blossoming romance with Kelce.

“Brittany is thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor,” a source told Us Weekly earlier this month. “They’ve hung out a couple of times and have grown fairly close in a short period of time.”

Their quick friendship began after Swift’s first appearance at a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. in September.

After the game, the pair got to know each other as they reportedly threw back shots together at the celebratory after-party.

The first picture of Swift and Kelce, 34, showing PDA came out of the lively shindig, which saw the singer getting flirty with her arm lovingly around the tight end’s neck.

They have since gone public with their romance, holding hands in front of fans on several occasions.

They are reportedly taking their relationship seriously, with Kelce even snagging a new $6 million Kansas City home in hopes of providing more privacy for their time together.

He is also reportedly planning to visit the Grammy winner after she heads overseas to continue her Eras Tour.
