Prescott is currently on No. 3 on the all time Cowboys passing yards leaders.

Dak Prescott wants to write off the criticism that he has suffered over the years and wants to write a new chapter for his team. The Dallas Cowboys QB is in the best form of his life.
In the last three games, Prescott has covered more than 1,100 yards of passing (more than 300 in all three) and has garnered 11 touchdowns in three games. His number of interceptions has also come under control. In addition to this, the QB is climbing the ranks among quarterbacks too quickly in the league. After week 11, he is presently on No. 2 in QB power rankings.
With this much intensity, he is being coined as the greatest Cowboys quarterback in the NFL by some enthusiastic football fans. A bunch of analysts have already raised the bar of him being the best Cowboy ever. He has given the other Cowboys legend a tough competition.
However, one analyst has a deep problem with people calling Dak the greatest Cowboy ever. There is no surprise in his name. Stephen A. Smith. An ardent Cowboys hater, Smith in the recent episode of show ‘First Take’, the analyst denied Dak being the greatest as he said,
Are you on drugs? Hell no! Stop it y'all, stop it.
What is stopping Dak Prescott from being the greatest?
Despite being individually one of the finest, there are a few things that go against the current starter of the Cowboys. His inability to provide on the big stage. There are ample amount of examples where Prescott has failed to do good at the big stages. In addition to this, the QB has failed to lead his team to any Super Bowl, let alone the Conference championship game.

Considering all of these, Smith said,
This dude, who's got two playoff victories in eight years, we're going to sit up here with a straight face, and say 'all time great?' I'm not trying to sit up there and say he might not be arguably top three, that don't make you great. No. Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman are in another dimension, another stratosphere.
If the QB has to prove Smith and the rest critics wrong, then he needs to win a Super Bowl and he has the highest chance to win it this year. Prescott is presently the Cowboys’ third all-time-great in terms of covering passing yards and second in terms of registering touchdowns.

He has surpassed Roger Staubach‘s 22,700 yards of career passing, with 27,358 yards and presently trailing Troy Aikman and Tony Romo. Prescott has more touchdowns and fewer interceptions. Presently, he is playing at a more efficient rate, no doubt.
