Quarterback Prescott logged the season-lowest 134 yards and threw an interception for the first time in the last five games.

Skip Bayless labels Dak Prescott as the ‘Most Valuable Pretender’ after his awful outing against the Bills amid MVP conversation

The Dallas Cowboys, a team that took down the unbeatable Philadelphia Eagles in Week 14, never would have considered the bizarre outing against the Buffalo Bills.

This time, it seems like Josh Allen‘s gameplay worked against MVP favorite Dak Prescott, resulting in a dominating 31-10 victory.

This unexpected loss may work in favor of the Eagles, as it brought them atop the NFC East again and also brought them a step closer to clinching a playoff spot. As for the MVP race, Prescott’s odds seem to look bleak with the San Francisco 49ers‘ Brock Purdy‘s utter dominance.

With that being said, the Cowboys’ biggest fan, or rather, their critic, Skip Bayless, seems extremely disappointed with his team, especially quarterback Prescott. And he expressed his disappointment by crowning Prescott a different kind of MVP.

Dak Prescott is sewing up MVP … Most Valuable Pretender.

Before the Sunday matchup, Prescott was leading the MVP race with the best odds of +160; below him was Purdy at +185. However, after the poor loss of 31-10 against the Bills, his odds have heightened to +250, which means the 49ers’ star QB is now the MVP favorite.

Prescott finished the Sunday game by completing 21 out of his 34 for 134 yards, along with an interception. This one loss has cost the Cowboys way more than they could have imagined, especially Prescott.

Skip Bayless lost all hope in the Cowboys

Dallas entered week 15 with the highest-scoring offense in the league, which carried the record for outscoring the opponents at home by a 279-108 margin. However, in the 31-10 loss on Sunday, quarterback Prescott logged the season-lowest 134 yards and threw an interception for the first time in the last five games.

After the bizarre loss to the 49ers earlier this season, the Cowboys logged its second-lowest 195 yards of offense. And sports analyst Bayless couldn’t have lost all hope in his team.

The Cowboys are not what I thought they were. They are fraudulent, pretenders, home-product phonies.
Maybe they can draw the NFC South winner and win one playoff road game before getting shamed the following week.

As he asserted on Undisputed’s recent episode
Although the Cowboys haven’t had any consecutive losses since November 2021, their playoff chances are still fresh. However, they lost one crucial thing: their biggest supporter, Bayless.
