Randy Orton is on the verge of his return to the ring, ending months of absence. As The Apex Predator gears up for tonight’s WWE Survivor Series premium live event, he is also keeping an incredible streak alive in WWE.

Randy Orton will join forces with Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Cody Rhodes to face off against The Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre in the WarGames match. That could be a brutal comeback for The Viper, but he has rested a long time for that moment.

Randy Orton had been sidelined since last May due to a back injury that led to him and Matt Riddle relinquishing the Raw Tag Team Titles to The Usos as part of the championship unification. Initially, he had planned to take some time off before resuming a feud with his tag partner. However, the injury turned out to be more severe than anticipated, leading to Orton needing back fusion surgery. Unfortunately, Riddle was subsequently released a few months ago.

After his match at Survivor Series Orton’s streak of participating in at least one WWE match has now extended to 21 years, making him the longest-tenured full-time performer on WWE’s active roster.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, there were never plans for an RK-Bro reunion in WWE. Randy Orton’s return to the roster was always slated to go down at WarGames for Survivor Series in Chicago.

Randy Orton is a shoo-in WWE Hall of Famer at this point in his career, after raking up accolades for over two decades in WWE. Not only is he the youngest WWE Champion in history, but he went on to do so much more after that. Now, we are awaiting his return to the ring, as a more mature Viper is ready to strike.
