The Las Vegas Raiders will try to seek revenge against the Kansas City Chiefs for their week 12 defeat.

Raiders CB Jack Jones ‘not worried’ about Chiefs’ offense, aims at stopping ‘magician’ Patrick Mahomes

The Las Vegas Raiders are all set to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the coming matchday. After the magisterial win against the Los Angeles Chargers by 63-21 last week, the team is gearing up to face the Chiefs. They have started to play mind games with the Chiefs ahead of the high-voltage clash.

Ahead of the much-anticipated game, the Raiders cornerback Jack Jones announced that there is nothing to worry about the Chiefs offense. He had a wild hint that the Chiefs are a one-man army with Patrick Mahomes doing the impossible things possible. He even indicated that the show of the Chiefs will be stopped if the Raiders can stop Mahomes.

We’re not worried about them -- It’s Patrick Mahomes we’ve got to stop. You know, the magician. You stop the magician, then the act is over.

The Chiefs are not in their usual rhythm this year, as they have suffered five defeats already, surpassing their loss count of last season. Though they are standing tall in the AFC West Division, the No.1 seed spot in the conference is uncertain.

The Ravens and the Dolphins are the current favorites for the AFC Championship. Compared to them, the Chiefs are evidently behind. The five defeats can cost them in the postseason.

The reason behind the Chiefs’ defeats can be traced to the team’s inability to find a good WR. Since the departure of Tyreek Hill, the Chiefs have mostly relied on inexperienced WRs instead of going for star ones. Kadarius Toney is one example. Despite being talented supremely, his inexperience has cost the team in a couple of games. Mahomes himself got frustrated with his mistakes.

The Raiders will look to seek revenge against the Chiefs

The Raiders had a faceoff earlier this season against the Chiefs where the Las Vegas team had took a hefty lead in the first two quarters. They were leading by 14-0 when the Chiefs started their comeback drive. It was one of the clutch games for the Chiefs as they secured a victory by 31-17.

The Raiders are a different team now. Interim Coach Antonio Pierce has strengthened his footing in the squad.

I know some of the results haven't been the way we wanted it in the second half, but I still think our purpose has been here--And the last two weeks,
I really put more of an effort and energy of myself and what I deliver, and what our coordinators are delivering to our players in the message.

The team has garnered more oxygen after the victory against the Los Angeles Chargers. With the new changes and a new fight, they can hope for a different game against the defending Super Bowl champions in the coming time.
