Prescott and the Cowboys are scheduled to face the 49ers this Sunday.

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys are preparing to square off against familiar foes the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday in their week 5 matchup. Prescott and the Cowboys are looking to make a statement by handing the dominant Niners team their first loss in the ongoing season. Amidst this, Fox Sports analyst Nick Wright claims Prescott is being disrespected by a lot of people while talking about why he trusts the Cowboys QB more than Brock Purdy.
“The level of disrespect thrown around to Dak [Prescott], he just played his 101st career regular season game. In those 101 games, he has a 98 passer rating and 2.5-to-1 TD-INT, he completes just over 67% of his pass attempts and averages 250 yards per game. He’s built a near decade-long résumé of a clear-cut undeniable Top 10 QB,” said Wright in a recent episode of the Fox Sports show First Things First.
Furthermore, the renowned NFL analyst Wright went on to say that against a great defense, he would trust the 2-time Pro Bowler Prescott more than the 2nd year quarterback Purdy.
“I trust — against a great defense on Sunday — Dak Prescott more than Brock Purdy,” said Wright. “Because I have seen Dak Prescott, I have seen him fail of course, I have also seen him against excellent defenses or an adverse situations come through.”

Wright further said that he hasn’t yet seen the 2022 rookie sensation Purdy come through adversity like Prescott has done in his career. Therefore, the Fox Sports analyst trusts Prescott to lead his team to victory more than Brock Purdy.
Dak Prescott and the Cowboys seek revenge on the 49ers
The last two years, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ season ended with playoff losses against the San Francisco 49ers. Now, Prescott and the Dallas-based football team have a shot at getting their revenge in a regular season game.

The Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently claimed that his team’s performance against the Niners will show him how good the Cowboys really are. Furthermore, the Cowboys’ offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer recently revealed that they have plans to use information from Trey Lance to defeat the defending NFC West champions.

Nonetheless, even with information from the former 49ers quarterback, it will be very difficult for the Cowboys to defeat Brock Purdy and the Niners due to the talent in their roster. Still, the Cowboys-49ers matchup will be an exciting one and will be a treat for the football fans.
