Micah Parsons, the 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year, is not your typical big man in the NFL. He is also deceivingly fast. In fact, during this year’s Pro Bowl race, Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill, who claims to be the fastest NFL player, didn’t even come close to Micah Parsons.
The two players recently engaged in a Twitter exchange, and it seems that the upcoming game between the Cowboys and Dolphins has added fuel to the fire. Parsons recently shared a post on Twitter thanking former Cincinnati Bengals tackle Andrew Whitworth for helping him get bigger. Hill took issue with the tone of the tweet and tweeted, “So now, you motivational speaker? I’m confused.”
Micah Parsons says only person who will ‘pay’ for Twitter beef with Tyreek Hill is Tua Tagovailoa:
The exchange continued with Parsons warning Hill and his quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, that he would take his anger out on someone close to the Cheetah. “Yeah! Keep up with them Twitter fingers. The only person who will pay is Tua!!! I’ll see you on Christmas Eve!! There is only going to be one Grinch who stole Christmas,” Parsons tweeted.
Hill retaliated by mocking Parsons’ fashion sense, saying: “Now you are angry cause you dress like method man.” Parsons fired back: “Cheetah is just mad Kansas City is thriving without him and he is trying to bring Cowboys Nation down with him!! He’s never been the same since he’s been in Miami! He’s started losing his mind! Maybe it’s the Heat.”
The exchange ended with Hill admitting that he was still upset about losing the Pro Bowl race to Parsons. “Yes, I’m still salty that Micah beat me in a race,” he tweeted before finally conceding. “You win, bro.”
As for the upcoming game, will Tua and Tyreek take Parsons’ words to heart? Will Micah Parsons show off his new and improved size to dominate opposition offenses? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure: this Twitter exchange has added more excitement to the already highly anticipated matchup between the Cowboys and Dolphins.
