Aaron Rodgers praised the Cowboys quarterback during Tuesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is having a remarkable campaign in the ongoing NFL season. He has shocked many people with his performance since everyone counted out the veteran QB in the early stages of the season.
And now, many people including the New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers are starting to see Prescott’s potential and the unwarranted hate he receives from some experts.
The injured Jets QB joined ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday for his weekly appearance. In the episode, Rodgers discussed a lot of things, including how Prescott has been balling out this year for the Cowboys.
I mean, the last four or five weeks, I’ve gotten to see more of their games, and I just want to say he [Dak Prescott] is playing the position in a really impressive way.

Furthermore, Rodgers also went on to discuss how the veteran quarterback is being subjected to massive scrutiny simply because of the star on his helmet.
"Dak Prescott has become one of my favorite Quarterbacks to watch..
He's really playing the position and he's using his cadence beautifully..
I love the way he's playing and he's really impressing me" ~ @AaronRodgers12 #PMSLive #DallasCowboys pic.twitter.com/uMOFJwlrRT

For whatever reason, maybe because he’s the Cowboys quarterback and it’s one of those premier positions in sports — like I feel like the Green Bay quarterback has been for a long time and some other positions in various sports — he might take a little more than he deserves. Or maybe it’s deserving of the position, I guess.
Rodgers further started to analyze Prescott’s impressive campaign and talked about how well he is making adjustments and controlling things at the line of scrimmage. The Jets quarterback declared that Prescott has impressed him with his ‘crazy cadence’.
Dak Prescott making a solid case for the MVP award
Following an injury-riddled 2022 season, many thought Prescott’s career was in a downward spiral. However, the veteran signal-caller has turned that narrative around and is now making a solid case to win the MVP award.

Prescott has registered 2,935 yards and 23 touchdowns while completing a whopping 70% of his pass attempts. Furthermore, he has also limited his interception rate, as he vowed to. He has only thrown 6 interceptions (only 2 in the last 6 games) so far this season.

Now, he is one of the frontrunners for the prestigious award. This is the first time Prescott has been a part of the MVP conversation since his rookie year back in 2016. If Prescott can keep up his pace and lead the Cowboys to a playoff berth, he certainly has a shot at bagging the award for the first time in his career.
