“They got to come see us now,” said defensive boss Micah Parsons, remembering back a few weeks ago when the Cowboys lost a nail-biter at Philly. “I’m excited about every game, but I feel like it’s us against the world, so let’s do it.”

“Us against the world”? Hardly; Cowboys Nation is such that “the world” is a actually dominated by fans who love “America’s Team.” But Micah’s point still resonates in the sense that the Cowboys at 9-3 need to stay focused and bonded and together as they chase the 10-1 Eagles.

Prescott, meanwhile – even as he was just finishing up another MVP-level performance in the clutch win over the Seahawks – seems acutely aware of the standings-related issue with Philly.

“Probably won’t be the last time we get them this season,” said Dak, suggesting that there might be a rubber match come playoff time. “Whether it’s here, whether it’s there, it really doesn’t matter. It’s two great teams, division rivals.
