Dak Prescott shut down critics during a recent press conference ahead of the Cowboys’ week 8 game.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been one of the most criticized players in the league for a long time. Even this year, Prescott has been subjected to heavy criticism despite him leading the Cowboys to a 4-2 record through the first 6 weeks. And now, ahead of Dallas’ week 8 game against the Los Angeles Rams, Prescott has answered his critics.
But the veteran signal-caller Prescott doesn’t worry about the critics. The 2-time Pro Bowler said that when the Cowboys win, the critics just make it sweeter.
To me, it’s fun. Because when things go our way and we win this thing, it’s going to make it all that much sweeter.Say what you want, we get to go out there and we get to do it.
Dak Prescott on Cowboys critics: “I’ve been in this organization eight years, whether you bitch about it or not, it’s not going to stop. That’s just how it goes. To me, it’s fun. Because when things go our way and we win this thing, it’s going to make it all that much sweeter.…

Dak Prescott has been solid through the first 7 weeks of the ongoing season, but his turnover rate is still a problem. He has thrown 4 interceptions in the season so far. However, 3 of those 4 INTs came in the same game, against the tough San Francisco 49ers game. Back in the 2023 off-season, Prescott vowed to keep his interception count less than 10, and he is working towards achieving that goal.
The Dallas-based football team is looking to build on their week 7 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers. In week 8, the Cowboys are scheduled to face the other Los Angeles team, the Rams in a fierce matchup.
Dak Prescott and the squad is enough to win the Super Bowl, claims Jerry Jones
As the NFL tradeline fast approaches, teams are looking to strengthen their roster by adding the missing pieces. But the Cowboys’ general manager, Jerry Jones, doesn’t seem to be interested in adding any more pieces to his roster.

Jones implied that he would not initiate any trade negotiations since he believes Dak Prescott can lead the Cowboys squad to the Super Bowl. So, he is not looking to address the needs of the Dallas-based football team.
We will trade. There’s no mistake about it. We will make a deal. But it’s certainly got a high bar because I like our team.
Still, the Cowboys could end up making one or two moves to address the lack of depth in their secondary unit and the wide receivers’ room. If Jerry Jones fails to do so, Prescott and the Cowboys might have a tough time competing with the giants of the NFC, the 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles.
