Hill wouldn’t be the first player to receive MVP praise from Parsons, who has spoken up for Dak Prescott and DaRon Bland on his Bleacher Report show.
Before Micah Parsons made a claim that drew some negative attention from NFL fans on social media, he acknowledged that he would be “talking crazy.”
Over the last few weeks, Parsons has unveiled a top 5 list of league MVP candidates on his Bleacher Report show, The Edge with Micah Parsons. Shortly after revealing where Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill ranks on his latest list, Parsons took some time to praise Hill for his impact on Miami’s offensive production.
“If they do give it to a non [quarterback] and Tyreek Hill breaks this record, he goes over 2,000 yards, he should be MVP,” Parsons said. “Without a doubt.”
Seems like a harmless take, right? The comments that ended up gaining the most traction took place when Parsons elaborated on Hill’s impact, claiming he could excel as the Miami star’s signal caller. Parsons also included 49ers players Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey as part of his argument.
“I am talking crazy right now and I’m talking very crazy. I truly believe I could be Tyreek Hill’s quarterback. I could throw it up to Tyreek Hill,” Parsons said. “I could throw a screen pass to Deebo. And this might be the crazy Madden side of me, but these players are just that good. Christian McCaffrey is just that good. If I get the ball out to Christian McCaffrey in space, he’s gonna make someone miss. He’s gonna make a play happen for me.”

Hill wouldn’t be the first player to receive that sort of praise from Parsons, who has spoken up for Dak Prescott and DaRon Bland on his show. Prescott ended up leading this week’s MVP list, sitting ahead of Brock Purdy and Jalen Hurts.
Hill is currently chasing down the league’s record for receiving yards in a single season, which was set by Calvin Johnson in 2012 (1,964 yards). Entering Week 14, Hill leads the league with 1,481 receiving yards and is on pace for nearly 2,100 yards on the campaign.
After making a case for Hill, Parsons encouraged the receiver to keep his historic pace and asked him to refrain from having a strong showing against Dallas on Dec. 25.
“Tyreek, keep doing what you’re doing. Just don’t do that on Christmas Day,” Parsons said. “I’m gonna see you then, Cheetah. You know you my dog, for real. I’m gonna see you on Christmas Day, just don’t do that stuff against me. I’m not trying to be chasing you all up and down the field, and that’s a fact.”
Would Parsons find success playing quarterback with weapons like Hill?
