The Dallas Cowboys have found plenty of success this season.

They’re a borderline perfect team, with HC Mike McCarthy and QB Dak Prescott proving that they’re not the weak link some deemed them to be.

And as most diehard football fans may know, special teams are also a crucial part of the game.

A missed kick can doom an entire season, and the Cowboys don’t want to risk that.

Fortunately for them, they have one of the best in business in that regard in 28-year-old star rookie Brandon Aubrey.

According to a report by Dianna Russini of The Athletic, Aubrey claims that he can knock down field goals from 70 yards (Via Dov Kleiman).

The first-year pro has yet to miss a field goal this season, going 30 for 30 thus far.

That includes 8 for 8 on attempts from more than 50 yards and three 50+ yarders vs. the Philadelphia Eagles in their statement win in Week 14.

It’s worth noting that no one has ever knocked down a 70-yard field goal in NFL history.

Baltimore Ravens star Justin Tucker currently holds the record with 66 yards, but it could be just a matter of time before someone is forced to try and take that record down.

The Cowboys cannot leave any stone unturned in their pursuit of greatness this season, especially with the Eagles and San Francisco 49ers also looking to make it out of the NFC and into the big game.

So, who knows? Perhaps Aubrey will have a chance to put his money where his mouth is and attempt a 70-yarder.
