Jerry Jones recently joined “Shan & RJ” on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, where he shared his take.

The Dallas Cowboys under their star quarterback Dak Prescott is competing for the Super Bowl this season. Jerry Jones, general manager and the owner of the Dallas-based football team did a great job assembling a strong roster for Prescott to lead. As a result, the Cowboys are off to a great 3-1 start. Amidst this, Jones surprisingly says that the road to the Super Bowl runs through San Francisco and that the San Francisco 49ers are currently the most likely team to win the Championship in the NFL.
“They are, right now, probably the most likely team to go win the Super Bowl, but in order for them to get there, they have to go by us, hopefully, two times if that’s the way it falls in the playoffs and we’re in the playoffs, of course,” the Cowboys owner and general manager said Tuesday on “Shan & RJ” on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas.
Furthermore, Jones believes that how the Cowboys play against the San Francisco-based football team will define his team’s strength this season. “But the bottom line is you’re playing the best, you don’t need the game to tell you you’re playing the best, but you need the game to show you how you stack up against the best,” said Jones.
Prescott and the Cowboys are scheduled to take on the 4-0 49ers in their week 5 matchup on Sunday. Despite saying that the Niners are the most-likely team to win the Super Bowl, Jones still believes that the Cowboys have the tools to physically matchup against the undefeated 49ers. Jones likes the look of his defensive unit and further said that “this is the best I’ve felt about our offense this year.”
Jerry Jones’ Cowboys look to hand the 49ers their first loss in this season
Cowboys vs. 49ers is always a fun matchup to see. The Niners have had the best of the Dallas-based football team in the last two years but this time, Prescott and his team are trying to turn it around and hand the 49ers their first loss of the season.

The Cowboys currently have one of the best defensive units in the league despite losing their star cornerback Trevon Diggs earlier this season. If Prescott can play well against the tough Niners’ defense, Dallas has a shot at defeating the defending NFC West champions.

On the other hand, Brock Purdy and the 49ers are looking to score a victory and remain on top of the race for the No.1 seed in the NFC. It is an important game for both teams and will certainly be one of the most exciting games this season. The much-anticipated matchup between the arch-rivals is scheduled for this Sunday at Levi’s Stadium California.
