Cam Newton and Micah Parsons have been constantly criticising the 49ers QB despite his good campaign.
Last Monday, the San Francisco 49ers, led by their star quarterback, Brock Purdy suffered a morale-downing loss against the Baltimore Ravens in their week 16 clash. Following the loss, many, including Cam Newton and Micah Parsons started questioning Purdy’s credibility. And now, the Niners wideout Deebo Samuel has hit back at both Parsons and Newton.
During a recent episode of the FanDuel Show Up & Adams show with Kay Adams, Samuel made an appearance and discussed the 49ers’ brutal loss against the Ravens. Furthermore, the talented wideout also called out Micah Parsons and Cam Newton over their constant Brock Purdy criticism.
First of all, Cam Newton, stop texting my phone, bro.
You was a fan like two weeks ago. That's mad crazy. You wanted me on your podcast after talking about my quarterback, which is funny to me...
Samuel said
After calling out the former NFL MVP, Samuel turned his attention towards the Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, who criticized Purdy’s horrific 4-interception performance.
But back to Micah Parsons. Bro, we beat you [42-10] a long time ago. I don't get why he's so bothered about what we got going on over here or whatever the case may be.
Samuel said
Earlier this month, Newton labeled Brock Purdy as a game manager in his podcast. Even though he didn’t intend any disrespect in labeling Purdy as a game manager, many people took offense to it. And now, Samuel has let Newton know how he feels about Newton’s label.
As for Micah Parsons, he has been criticizing Purdy a lot. The All-Pro linebacker recently said that the 49ers QB cannot lead his team to a comeback victory.
Deebo Samuel got pranked by fake Cam Newton
Recently, the 49ers wideout Deebo Samuel revealed in the Up & Adams show that Cam Newton has been texting him and asking him to come on his podcast.

But, later, Newton posted a video on his social media profile refuting Samuel’s claims of texting him. As it turned out, the 49ers’ young wide receiver was pranked by a kid pretending to be Cam Newton. After everything came to light, Samuel deleted the tweets he posted as proof of Newton inviting him to the podcast.
Got damn!! Deebo Samuel got catfished by someone South Carolina. He made an ass of himself trying to beef with Cam Newton.

On the sporting side of things, the 49ers are currently looking to bounce back from a brutal loss last Monday. This weekend they are scheduled to face the Washington Commanders in their week 17 clash. The Niners would look to make a statement victory in the tough road game.
