Fans have taken to social media to reveal a crazy moment that occurred during Taylor’s Swift’s record-breaking show in Melbourne on Friday.

Taylor took to the stage as images from the Women’s cricket Test match between Australia and South Africa were projected on television screens in boxes at the concert, which was ironically held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Pictures shared to X (formerly Twitter) show SA bowler Anneke Bosch preparing to bowl a delivery – while Taylor can be seen in the background belting out a tune.

‘Trust the MCG to still have the cricket on at the Taylor concert,’ the user shared.

Several fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the wild moment.

‘Only in Australia,’ one user commented.

‘This is brilliant,’ added another.

Channel Seven AFL commentator Georgie Parker saw the funny side of the bizarre incident which occurred after Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland scored a double century in Friday’s test in Perth.

The former hockey champ posted a screen shot of Taylor looking into the distance with a ‘shocked’ expression and captioned the image: ‘Taylor seeing Annabel Sutherland’s double ton.’

Meanwhile, the Australian Women’s Cricket Team added: ‘Lucky Swifties.’

A cricket viewer also posted: ‘It’s a women’s test match, of course it should be on.’

Another X user appeared relieved that the multi-purpose stadium was returning to its roots: ‘About time they had people in there watching cricket for a change.’

It comes after behind-the-scenes details about Taylor’s MCG have recently emerged.

The global megastar, 34, was seen being chauffeured FBI-style to the stadium on Friday afternoon, just hours before taking to the stage.
