Selena Gomez admitted that she was “tired” of music and said it was time for her to put her career on hold.

In the latest episode of the Smartless podcast, Selena Gomez revealed her plans to hatch one last album before retiring from music completely.

“I started having a lot of fun with music and touring was really fun. I was doing the Wizards of Waverly Place series at the same time and it was fun so I kept going. But as I got older, The more I think that I want to find something to stabilize my life,” Selena Gomez shared on the podcast.

“I really feel like I have one more album,” the former Disney star continued, “But maybe I’ll choose acting. I want to relax because I’m tired.”

Selena Gomez has released three albums since her first solo project Stars Dance in 2013. The singer’s last album was Rare which came out in 2020. Although quite successful, the 1992-born singer has not continued tour since 2016. Even at that time, Selena also canceled midway due to difficulties with mental health as well as lupus.

At the present time, Selena Gomez is focusing on her acting career with the popular TV series Only Murders in the Building. In addition, the female singer is also developing her cosmetic brand Rare Beauty.
