“I was at it again … I love Melbourne, and I love just sharing it with everybody, whether they’re from interstate, overseas, locals – I just love events,” she later told 9 News, referencing her popularity with punters while working at other iconic Victorian events including the Grand Prix and the Australian Open.

Swift is currently in the midst of a four-day break after performing three massive shows in Melbourne over the weekend. She’ll kick off her four Sydney gigs on Friday night at Accor Stadium.

In the meantime, she was spotted on a rare public outing on Tuesday night, popping up at popular Sydney restaurant Pellegrino 2000 with fellow American singer Sabrina Carpenter, who is supporting her on her sold-out Eras Tour.

Swift reportedly declined to book out the entire venue, instead enjoying her evening alongside stunned fellow restaurantgoers.

Word of Swift’s choice of dinner hotspot quickly spread, and hordes of Swifties – as well as photographers – were eagerly waiting outside as the Lover singer and Carpenter left the venue later in the evening.
