Rihanna said she was jealous that her daughter was closer to her father, A$AP Rocky, than her.

Right after causing a storm with her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl, Rihanna and boyfriend A$AP Rocky first revealed their 9-month-old first son in the March issue of British Vogue.

In an interview with Vogue, singer Diamond “bitterly” admitted that her child likes her father more than her mother:

“I was like a girl trying to get into the boys’ club, waiting for her turn. He’s addicted to his dad while I’m like ‘Isn’t it mom who gives birth? What’s happening?’.”

The 34-year-old singer has not yet shared her child’s name and calls him by the nickname “Second Rocky”:

“The second Rocky made eye contact with Rocky and everything was on fire. All that stuff they say about the bond between son and mother is a lie. The relationship between son and father is crazy. I Realizing that what a son really needs is recognition from his father.”

Rihanna – is currently pregnant with her second child with A$AP Rocky and she says the relationship between the two is growing stronger:

“We are like a pair of close friends with a child together. We need to be in sync with each other, but that’s something we’ve always maintained in the past. They say everything changes when you have kids but in my opinion we haven’t changed anything, other than growing closer.”

Rihanna announced her second pregnancy while performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 13 (Vietnam time), causing social networks to explode. A$AP Rocky was also there to support his girlfriend, with the rapper even wearing a custom Jeff Hamilton jacket in her honor.

The Fenty Beauty founder and Rocky were friends for years before they started dating in late 2020. In an interview with GQ, Rocky called Rihanna “the love of my life.”
