A fan has shared a harrowing experience she had at a Taylor Swift show that has left her “shocked”.

Myha Rose attended Taylor Swift’s first concert night in Melbourne with plans to have the best night of her life, but instead, she was allegedly sexually harassed.

Ms Rose, 18, explained that she already had tickets to see Swift’s second show in Melbourne, but she came across someone on TikTok offering free tickets for the show’s first night.

The teenager, who had already flown to Melbourne from Queensland and taken out a loan to see Swift, decided to “seize” the opportunity.

Alongside her friend, she reached out and arranged to meet the ticket holder outside the MCG.

He explained that his friends couldn’t make it at the last minute, and she couldn’t believe her luck when the tickets were genuine.

She knew he’d still be attending the show, but she and her friend were surprised to discover he’d be seated next to them.

Ms Rose said in the beginning, she didn’t feel she had a reason to worry, but as the night progressed, the man’s behaviour became inappropriate.

The Taylor Swift fan told news.com.au the man she purchased tickets from began acting strangely as the night went on.

“As the night progressed, this individual’s behaviour became increasingly inappropriate and alarming,” she said.

She said she witnessed him allegedly offering two young girls who appeared to be underage $100 each to kiss him, and she immediately informed security of his behaviour.

The situation escalated after she made the initial report to security about the man’s alleged behaviour.

“The situation escalated dramatically and turned into a personal nightmare for me. As I was walking up the stairs, the same individual forcibly pinned himself against me, kissed me without consent, groped me, and even grabbed my crotch,” she said.

Online, the teenager has been sharing the alleged assault happened during Swift’s famous 10-minute break-up song All Too Well. It was the song that Ms Rose had most been looking forward to hearing live for the first time.

Ms Rose said she was left feeling “shocked” and “traumatised” by the assault, and when she told security, they intervened and removed him, but only temporarily.

She said the man returned to their seating, denied his actions, and told her they were “all good.”

Once again, she spoke to security to report the harassment for the third time, and this time the man was removed from the venue.

At this point, she was in shock and could no longer enjoy the show because the experience had rattled her.

“Regrettably, I was unable to return to my seat and enjoy the remainder of the concert due to the distress caused by the perpetrator’s relentless harassment and the subsequent disruption to my concert experience,” she said.

The MCG has been contacted for comment.
