According to realtor, NFL star Kelce is refurbishing the six-bedroom Kansas City mansion he bought this time last year for $US6m ($A8.91m), shortly after he went public with his romance with Swift.

Kelce apparently purchased the home because he was feeling ‘self conscious’ about the relatively modest pad he owned and so upgraded in order to impress his new beau.
And now he is taking things to another level, but this time for himself.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has begun work on his 37 sqm mancave which will include a golf simulator. Plans for the mancave involve digging up the basement floor and lowering it by almost a metre to allow more space.
Travis and his brother Jason are both very keen golfers.
The renovation plans filed with the local Leawood Public Works Department allow for remodelling of the existing basement, new drainage interiors and new walls.
The home is located in the city of Leawood, which is about 20 minutes drive south of the Chiefs’ home-ground of Arrowhead Stadium.
The house itself features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room, a media lounge, a wine cellar, and a full bar.
A resort style pool sits outside alongside manicured lawns. Nearby there’s an outdoor kitchen, tennis and pickleball court, waterfall, hot tub, and miniature golf course.
Located inside a gated community, the grand estate sits on nearly 3.5 acres at the end of a cul-de-sac.
The mansion is far more secluded than Travis Kelce’s other home in Kansas City, a 4,200-square-foot mansion in the Briarcliff West neighbourhood that he purchased for US$995,000 in 2019.
Swift has paid several visits to the home since her relationship with Kelce began — while he has also been a guest at a number of her homes.
