The feud between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion gets as ugly as it can be after the Queen of Rap mentioned the latter’s late mother in her new single. Following the release of Minaj’s new song, Big Foot, the Texas cemetery has taken steps to increase the security of Stallion’s late mother, Holly Thomas’ grave.

Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion got involved in a high-profile brawl after the latter mentioned several celebrities in her latest single, HISS. A specific ‘Megan’s law’ line in the WAP hitmaker’s single enraged Minaj and her fans as it allegedly mentioned her husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a convicted s*x offender. However, the feud became ugly after Minaj and her fan army brought the late Holly Thomas amidst the brawl.

Soon after Megan Thee Stallion’s Hiss came out, Nicki Minaj took to her social media for a full-fledged battle against the Houston rapper. In one of her long series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) against MTS, Minaj attacked her, saying– “Y’all wanna bring up family members???!! And lying on your dead mother?!?!!”

Following that, the Trinidad rapper also cracked a cruel joke on Stallion’s late mother during an interview (via TMZ), “You better go conjure up your mother and apologize. That’s disgusting.” Later, when the Super Bass singer released her latest single, Big Foot, it did not take long for her fans to dig out all the references made to Megan Thee Stallion. A specific section of the rap read-

“How you f**k your mother man when she die? / How you go on Gayle King and can’t cry? / Chile, bye / BigFoot, but you still a small fry / Swearin’ on your dead mother when you lie.”

But the Barbz, the fierce fandom of Nicki Minaj, leveled up the feud when they doxxed the location of Holly Thomas’ grave on social media. They encouraged other people to go and vandalize the site in response to Megan Thee Stallion‘s Hiss. As per TMZ, it has led the cemetery authorities to raise the security of Holly Thomas’ gravesite. Stallion’s mother passed away due to a brain tumor in 2019.

It has undoubtedly raised an intense backlash for the Barbz on social media as everyone believes they crossed their limits by bringing in the Body rapper’s dead mother. Over the years, Megan Thee Stallion has often stated how her mother contributed immensely to her life, and her passing away holds a very emotional place in her heart.

Will the feud end soon?

Megan Thee Stallion did not address the issue much following the release of HISS. In an interview with The Breakfast Club, the 28-year-old said that the single is dedicated to everyone who used her name to get attention.

“When a snake feel like you’ve been playing and like doing a whole bunch of swaying, it’s basically telling you to back off. I hear you, I see you, get up off me now. Basically, that’s what it means.”

Even though there is no mention of Nicki Minaj or Kenneth Petty in the song, a specific line “These h–s don’t be mad at Megan, these h–s mad at Megan’s Law” was pointed out by the fans as a reference to the legal troubles of Petty. Minaj’s husband was arrested in California in 2020 after failing to register as a s*x offender.

It does not look like the feud will end very soon as Nicki Minaj has threatened to release 5 new diss tracks even if Megan Thee Stallion “breathes wrong”. It will be interesting to see if MTS addresses this controversy through a statement or if we get another chartbuster single against Minaj.
