Little Mix have waded into Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s explosive feud as the two rivals continue to spar over social media.

The girl group and Nicki recently teamed up for their brand new single Woman Like Me.

But Cardi claimed she was offered to appear on the track before her rap rival was asked.

“Then, that Woman Like Me record… Yeah I had to decline it because I’m doing a lot of pop records so I can’t over exaggerate myself but that came to me first,” she ranted in one of many videos posted to Instagram on Monday.

However, Little Mix took to Instagram a few hours later to set the record straight.

“Sorry Cardi hun but this is the tea. We’ve always wanted the queen (no shade),” the post read.

They added: “We just want to clarify…Nicki was approached first (swipe for date).”

The girls also posted a video collage of all the times they’ve said they wanted to work with Nicki over the years.

The post divided their fans, with some praising them for speaking up while others called it “classless”.

“Don’t know how I feel about this,” one fan wrote. “Should’ve just stuck to liking posts.️ Feel like you ruined any future collabs.”

A second wrote, “Wow I totally love you girls but this is low…”

While a third shared, “Queens supporting queens.”

Earlier, Nicki had stoked the tensions between the pair during an episode of her Queen Radio show, offering $100,000 (£78,000) to anyone who leaked footage of an altercation between them at New York Fashion Week in September.

Nicki said her friend and reality TV star Rah Ali “beat” Cardi B, leaving her with a bruised head and offered a cash reward for footage.

Cardi, 26, responded hours later in a series of videos posted to Instagram. The I Like It rapper accused her rival of lying about the details of the disturbance in New York and losing track of what she had said.

She added: “And second of all, how you gonna say I was the wild animal, that I attacked you, that you was mortified, that you was humiliated.

“Do you want to be the victim, or do you want to be the gangster?”

Several videos surfaced appearing to show Cardi B and Minaj’s altercation during New York Fashion Week.

Video footage appeared to show Cardi B, real name Belcalis Almanzar and who gave birth to her first daughter, Kulture, in July, thowing a shoe at Nicki.

She claimed the rapper had insulted her parenting skills and was trying to harm her progress within the music industry.
