The March cover of British Vogue features Barbadian singer, actress, and businesswoman, Rihanna with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky and their 9-month-old son. Her second pregnancy was recently made public during her Superbowl Halftime performance. In her lengthy interview with British Vogue, the musician discussed how her relationship with Rocky changed after they became parents.

She also mentioned the “undeniable” bond that exists between Rocky and their son. In keeping with this, she spoke about the plans she and her partner have made for when their second child is born. The 34-year-old Love the Way You Lie hitmaker said she and A$AP Rocky, decided not to hire a caregiver for their child, who is currently nine months old.

Just days after the performer revealed she was expecting her second child during her performance at Super Bowl LVII, the interview was made public. Also, the performer reportedly spent over $500,000 on a rental home in Arizona.

Rihanna revealed during the conversation with British Vogue that she and A$AP Rocky made the decision to raise their son without the assistance of any ‘nanny.’ He was born in May 2022. She also recalled that she and her partner struggled when they first started out as parents. The We Found Love artist recalled,

“Those first days are insane. You don’t sleep. At all. Not even if you wanted to…you’re a zombie for the most part. It was just us as parents and our baby. Man, you’re a zombie for the most part.”

According to the performer, the experience of starting a family particularly moved the couple. She continued, “Essentially, from one person I became two. You walk into the hospital as a couple and leave as a family of three. It’s nuts.”

Beginning in the early 2010s, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, both 34, became friends and worked together for a number of years. Despite not publicly announcing their relationship at the time, the couple first started having romantic encounters in 2020.

In a subsequent interview that was published in 2021, Rakim Athelaston Mayers, better known by his stage name ASAP Rocky, confessed how much he loved his girlfriend. And now they are proud parents to a son and expecting a second child soon. In a follow-up photo shoot in New York City in January of last year, the Umbrella singer proudly flaunted her growing baby bump.

In May of last year, Rihanna gave birth to a boy; the child’s name has not yet been made public.

However, the singer was not shy about flaunting her growing baby bump while performing a number of her hits for the audience and cameras. Although Rihanna gave birth to their first child in May 2022, they have remained mum about his name.

But in an interview with the Associated Press in November of last year, the Dancing In The Dark hitmaker, who made her second pregnancy public at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 12, claimed that the couple’s lack of naming their son was simply a result of their busy schedules.

The Diamonds singer revealed that she and her boyfriend have grown closer after becoming parents when asked about their relationship during the British Vogue interview. She concluded,

“We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship. Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer.”

In a separate interview with Vogue, the founder of Fenty Beauty discussed her second child and revealed that she is not anticipating a particular gender for the baby.
