“Aquaman” star Jason Momoa on Saturday Night Live has opened up about the career he aspired to as a child.

Specifically, Jason Momoa expressed his love for the ocean, then noted that all he wanted when he grew up, was to become a marine scientist: “All I wanted to be was a marine biology scientist. This makes sense because I get to learn and grow as a scientist,” Momoa said in the program.

According to the actor, his job will be to protect the ocean and small island states. In addition, he also wants to set up a water company with a mission to eliminate single-use plastic water bottles.

Perhaps, Jason Momoa’s childhood dream partly came true, when he caught the eye of Warner Bros. and played the superhero in “Aquaman” of the DC Cinematic Universe. In the film, the actor plays Arthur Curry, a hybrid between humans and the people of Atlantis. He has unparalleled strength, capable of communicating with sea creatures.
