The third season of The Witcher wrapped up earlier this year and the series was renewed for a fourth season, however, not much information has come forward recently that confirms if the production of the new season is in full swing.

Several news outlets have confirmed that the filming will begin in early 2024 but this news has disappointed some fans because this will further push away the release date.

Fans have been expecting some news regarding the new season of The Witcher, but not much has come forward lately. As per Redanian Intelligence, filming The Witcher‘s fourth season will begin in early 2024, probably around March/April but this news has disappointed some fans.

If the filming begins around March/April, it means that it will get wrapped up in late 2024. This means that the series could be lined up for a Summer 2025 release. So, unfortunately, fans will have to wait for a long time.

For three seasons, actor Henry Cavill gave fans an excellent iteration of Geralt of Rivia. Sources claimed that Cavill quit because he only made a “short-term deal” for The Witcher. Now, actor Liam Hemsworth will be taking over and it has created a lot of anticipation among the fans.

The pre-production of The Witcher season 4 is expected to begin in January 2024 and an official release date is yet to be announced. Apart from this, fans are excited about the anime adaptation, The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep which is expected to release in late 2024.
