Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery have reunited on the golf greens! CC fans were in for a bit of disappointment when McCaffery attended a friend’s wedding without her. But just a few days ago, Clark posted a story of the two of them at golf grounds, which McCaffery then reposted, which makes sense given Clark’s November calendar.

The Gainbridge ambassador is set to appear at the LPGA’s ANNIKA next month, where she will participate in various tournament week festivities at the LPGA Tour event. Set to take place Nov. 11-17 at Pelican Golf Club, the Indiana Fever rookie is a panelist at the Women’s Leadership Summit on Tuesday, Nov. 12, and will play in the Wednesday Pro-Am on Nov. 13. “I love golf so the opportunity to play in the Pro-Am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam’s name on it is so exciting,” Clark said in an official statement.

“Gainbridge® is a leader in supporting women’s sports and that’s clear through their commitment to me, this event, Billie Jean King, and Parity Week. I’m looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women’s Leadership Summit, and, of course, teeing it up in the pro-am with Annika.”

Although Clark has an endless number of achievements when a basketball is in her hand, the golf club is taking some getting used to. But she’s already practicing with her boyfriend a month in advance!

The Nov. 13 event will be open to the public, who might want to see CC in action on a different surface. A huge golf fan since her NCAA days, Clark and McCaffery were often at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse Arena together. The W rookie was also often at the Finkbine Golf Arena at Iowa, teeing it up when she needed a break from basketball.

While this couple shares a love for the hardwood, the lush greens clearly agree with them too! The legendary golfer after whom the event has been named will be there too. And much like how CC is a fan of Annika Sorenstam, the Swedish former pro has been following women’s basketball too.

“I have been following Caitlin’s career during college and now on the WNBA stage, and what she is doing to bring attention to women’s sports both on and off the court is outstanding,” said Annika. The 2024 ROTY has certainly brought more eyeballs to her sport from around the world. But if you ask her, there is one person she’s grateful for above most others.

Caitlin Clark counts herself as “lucky” for having Connor McCaffery by her side

When Caitlin Clark won the AP Rookie of the Year award in September, McCaffery took to Instagram to share a single-word reaction to the news – “Duh.” It was a given, and then the Fever rookie later won the ROTY honor from the WNBA as well. McCaffery, a former Iowa basketball player himself and currently an assistant coach for the Butler men’s team, has always known how special his girlfriend is.

The feelings are mutual. CC took to Instagram after she won the WNBA ROTY to share a picture of her hugging her boyfriend on draft day. “draft day throwback,” she captioned it, also adding, “I’m lucky.”

This talented couple will always have basketball in common. Clark has spoken about how she and McCaffery have often taken to the courts to shoot a few baskets. The Fever guard boasts that she usually wins, while her boyfriend jokes it’s because he lets her. But either way, if there is ever a time when they want a break from basketball, they can just pick up their golf clubs and tee it out!
