On Thursday night, the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Baltimore Ravens in the first game of the 2024 NFL season. The game is set to take place at the home of the Chiefs, Arrowhead Stadium.

Just hours before kickoff, many photos of Arrowhead have surfaced online. Now, many people on social media are saying the same thing about the stadium.

Wow! The field looks great for tonight’s season opener and I bet that the stadium is going to be packed. GO CHIEFS!” said one comment.

“This is such a beautiful scene,” said another about Arrowhead.

“That’s actually beautiful,” a third added.

“Football is back baby!!” a fourth added.

Arrowhead is not set to host the NFL kickoff game for the third time in the past five seasons. Of course, that’s because, in most seasons, the Super Bowl champions are granted the honor.

In the past two NFL kickoff games at the stadium, the Chiefs are 1-1 with a win against the Houston Texans and a loss last year to the Detroit Lions.

Arrowhead Stadium As 12th Best Stadium In NFL

On Aug. 16, USA Today ranked all 30 NFL stadiums from the best to the worst.

Arrowhead was knocked a bit further down the list for not being the most aesthetically pleasing in the league, but it earned major points for the game-day experience.

“As a stadium itself, Arrowhead is just OK,” wrote Andrew Joseph of USA Today. “But the game-day experience is among the best in the league. Surrounded by nothing but parking lots, there’s little to do around the stadium besides tailgating.”

Of course, when your team is on a generational run like the Chiefs are, there’s a ton to cheer for, and the fans certainly show out.
