No matter where you play, football is one of the most challenging sports to play. It also deserves a high amount of respect, and most teams follow the unwritten rules of the game following a win or a loss.

One of the unwritten rules, especially in youth football, is the good old handshake line. Kids are told to line up, win or lose, shake their opponent’s hands, and congratulate them for a game well played, and that’s indeed what most coaches enforce.

However, some coaches of an unknown kids’ football team in Texas, along with the parents of the players, are catching some flack today for their antics following a win, and the video shared to X has some people who watched the clip confused.

Social Media Is Questioning A Youth Football Team After A Viral Video

Obviously, winning a football game can excite any football fan, but players celebrate differently. These kids decided to take it to a whole new level, and following their win, they decided to take belts and whack their opponents instead of shaking hands.

Some users were furious with the unsportsmanlike conduct shown by the kids, as one social media user put it, “bad parenting.” And others even blamed the coaches, questioning, “Where is the coach? crazy behavior.”

However, other users had to make jokes at the expense of the losing team, as one kid fought back, and he didn’t look like a kid at all. One fan jokingly asked how “the team with Derrick Henry” lost.

It’s unknown whether or not the team in question received any discipline for their actions, but this clip can be viewed in two ways. Either the kids on the winning side are teaching their peers the reality of life, or the disrespect shown should not be tolerated.
