Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull alongside boyfriend Will Matthiessen

Indiana Fever star Lexie Hull is one of the WNBA’s most popular figures. The energetic and spirited guard is coming off an exceptional season. She helped guide the Fever to the postseason for the first time in eight years. With the offseason in full swing, Hull has been enjoying some downtime and shared some snaps of her on the beach with boyfriend Will Matthiessen.

On Friday, Hull posted a selfie on her Instagram story of her and Matthiessen showing off their smiles as the sun set behind them. Hull added a simple white heart emoji to accompany the pic.

Hull has over 199,000 followers on Instagram. She often shares pictures of the Indiana Fever, eating out, her travel adventures and her longtime boyfriend.

Hull and Mathiessen attended Stanford University in California. The couple has been in a relationship for over four years.

Like Hull, Mathiessen was a highly-rated athlete in Palo Alto where he played first base and pitched for the Cardinals. The 6-foot-6 slugger impressed big league scouts over his collegiate career and was drafted by the Pittsburgh

Pirates in the sixth round of the 2019 MLB draft.

Matthiessen had a respectable career in the minor leagues but retired earlier this year to pursue other opportunities.

Lexie Hull and Will Matthiessen’s relationship has strengthened over the years, with the couple often sharing snaps of their time online.

On Sept. 13, Mathiessen shared photos of him and Hull on his Instagram account to celebrate the Indiana Fever star’s 25th birthday. He captioned the post:

“The big 2-5. Happy Birthday Lex. Grateful for every moment with you.”

The pictures show Mathiessen and Hull sharing quality time on a boat, dressing up in all-black formal wear and playing pickleball. There was even a cute photo of Hull with a dog.

The photos received plenty of attention on social media. Even WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark took time out of her busy schedule to comment “slay” when she saw the pictures.
