Travis Kelce’s NFL team is going all out for its social media celebration of the star player’s birthday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who turned 35 on Saturday, Oct. 5, was the focus of several fan tributes—many of which his team kicked off—as his birthday weekend began.

The Chiefs started the day by posting a digital poster of Kelce wearing two of his team uniforms and one of his pre-game outfits alongside a fitting birthday message that cited one of Kelce’s favorite Beastie Boys songs. “No need to fight for your right to party today. HBD, @tkelce!” the team wrote on X, formerly Twitter. The team also posted a montage featuring some of Kelce’s game-day ‘fits, which have become a point of focus among many Chiefs fans. Travis “dresses like every day is his birthday 💯,” the team observed.

Later Saturday, the Chiefs shared another video montage comprised of moments when the audio of the Grotesquerie actor’s mid-game asides were audible. The humorous montage, which the Chiefs described as including “some” of Kelce’s “greatest hits,” began with a clip of him asking that a call be made so that a meal preference could be passed along to his mother, Donna.

“Can you call my mother for me from that phone right there,” Kelce began, “and tell her that I don’t want the macaroni and cheese with the regular noodles, I want the gnocchi.” A discussion about the correct pronunciation of “gnocchi” followed.

Additional clips showed the star NFL player hyping himself up while on the field— “Hit me all day, baby!”—and commenting on games from the sidelines.

Kelce “has to be the funniest guy in the @NFL 😂,” one fan commented on the video as another agreed the clips included some “Classic stuff.”

Another fan who included a teasing reference to the gnocchi conversation in their comment wished Kelce “all the best on his BD and all the ganacchi noodles his heart desires!!”

“It’s always a beautiful day for football when Trav is on the mic,” one fan observed.
