Taylor Swift’s shows in  Munich, Germany this weekend drew massive crowds as fans gathered on a hilltop just outside Olympic Stadium to watch the pop star’s show for free.

Photos of Swifties gathered on Olympic Hill, which boasts one of the highest elevations in the city, went viral on social media this weekend. According to the Associated Press, local police estimated that around 25,000 people gathered on the hill on Saturday, though other estimates have put the number as high as 40,000.

In a speech during Sunday night’s show, Swift estimated that there were 50,000 people gathered outside. “We are lucky enough to get to play this show for 74,000 beautiful people in this stadium, and if the reports are correct, about 50,000 beautiful people outside the stadium,” Swift said, according to fan-shot video.

“Thank you for coming to the Eras Tour, whether you’re in the stadium or outside of the stadium,” Swift continued. “We are so lucky to be here with you. And this is actually a really special night, because this is our last show in Germany. I cannot express to you how wonderful the German crowds have been to us over the last few weeks. We are so sad to be leaving you but we will be back, we will be back to see you.”

Swift continues her wildly successful Eras Tour this week with three shows in Warsaw, Poland. She’ll then head to Vienna, Austria before closing the European leg with five more shows in London, England.
