Caitlin Clark goes viral for her response to man asking her to sign his hat
Caitlin Clark was not overly enthused by a grown man’s request for her to sign his hat at The RSM Classic Pro-Am, a new video shows.
The WNBA Rookie of the Year has been hitting the golf course of late, as she was in Georgia on Wednesday after playing in The Annika Pro-Am in Florida last week.
And while Clark was seen happily posing with a couple of young fans for a picture in St. Simons Island, her smile instantly disappeared as a man asked for his hat to be signed.
Clark duly obliged and scribbled her signature on his hat but did not appear to say anything to the fan before walking away.
An X post featuring the video has racked up more than 47,000 views as of writing.

Fans on the social platform opined that Clark knew the fan merely wanted to sell the hat after getting it signed by Clark.
‘…it sucks that it’s how grown men are like they aren’t truly fans of her 🙁 she knows she making that kids day while she making the guy some money in his pocket :/,’ one wrote.
Clark was joined in the Pro-Am by Tom Brady, with the basketball star playing with Zach Johnson and the NFL legend pairing up with world No 5. Ludvig Åberg.
At The Annika Pro-Am last week, Clark nearly took a fan’s head off as she shanked a fairway shot. But she showed some flashes of her still-improving golf ability with some brilliant approach shots.
She also got the chance to play alongside two of golf’s greatest icons, World No. 1 Nelly Korda and 10-time major winner Annika Sorenstam.
Korda played with Clark for nine holes and came away impressed with the Indiana Fever star.
‘She’s definitely very talented. She was picking the ball really clean,’ Korda said.
‘She was losing a couple shots to the right, but I asked her how many times a week she plays and I think with the amount of obligations she has she probably gets to the golf course once a week. So just play once a week she was playing really well.’
While Clark has been practicing her golf game this WNBA offseason, she reportedly won’t be involved in the inaugural year of breakaway league Unrivaled.
