Taylor Swift takes note of Travis Kelce’s comment about Caitlin Clark after they met at her concert

It was a meeting of the stars at The Eras Tour in Indianapolis.

Over the past year or so, there have been certain athletes who have dominated national media coverage. Patrick Mahomes will always be one of those, especially if he keeps winning Super Bowls at his current rate. LeBron James continues to dominate headlines as well given his larger-than-life aura. But in recent times, we have seen Caitlin Clark truly revolutionize the sport she plays.

Clark’s electric playstyle has brought droves of fans to her games, first at Iowa and now with the Indiana Fever. Along with Shohei Ohtani, those four athletes have been at the top of most media members’ priority lists in the United States over the past couple of years. But there’s one more big name: Travis Kelce. The legendary Kansas City Chiefs tight end was already a prominent figure in the NFL before the 2023 season, but his relationship with Taylor Swift has put him in the global spotlight.

Although we see Kelce and Mahomes interact on a daily basis, Kelce was able to meet Clark recently. The two were spotted together at Swift’s The Eras Tour show in Indianapolis last week.

On the newest episode of New Heights, Kelce described what it was like meeting Clark.

Saw Caitlin Clark out there, got to meet Caitlin. She’s awesome. She loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart, you know? Played high school ball, college ball, pro ball all out here in the Midwest and it was cool catching up with her. She was into the show, for sure. She was there with her mom and a few friends… She’s a Swiftie through and through, man.

Clark seems to be a Swift superfan, something that has become common as the singer’s starpower grows exponentially. Given that Clark’s new dwelling place is in Indianapolis, it was an easy trek to watch Swift when she came to town.
