Angel Reese brushes off latest WNBA controversy as she rocks custom Bears jersey to cheer on Chicago against Carolina Panthers at Soldier Field
Angel Reese shrugged off the latest controversy rocking the WNBA as she showed up in support of her fellow Chicago athletes Sunday.
Despite being a Baltimore native and Ravens fan, Reese backed the Windy City after her debut season in Chicago by attending the Bears’ game against the Carolina Panthers.
The Sky player cheered on the Bears as she made a sideline appearance at Soldier Field as Caleb Williams looked to lead the Bears to a winning record in Week 5 of the NFL season.
Reese put her own spin on the Bears uniform as she donned a Chicago No. 5 jersey – the same number she wears for the Sky – rolled up to provide a crop-top effect.
She paired the styled-up sportswear with wide-legged jeans with the hems turned up and topped off the look with a pair of white sliders and a pale stone-colored Hermes Birkin bag.

The forward was also seen sporting a brace of her left wrist as she continues her recovery from the injury that cut short her rookie season in the WNBA.
Reese filmed herself sharing a message to Chicago fans, finishing the clip with a shout of ‘Bear down!’
The Week 5 matchup is the second NFL game the 22-year-old has enjoyed during her offseason.
Just last week, Reese made an appearance at M&T Bank Stadium in a Baltimore homecoming.
The Baltimore native cheered on her hometown Ravens as Lamar Jackson and co. beat the Buffalo Bills 35-10 on Sunday Night Football.
The Sky star attended the NFL game with her brother and posed with a custom Ravens jersey on the sidelines.
Reese was even spotted greeting Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who approached her on the sideline ahead of the action kicking off.

Reese suffered a blow earlier this week when it was officially confirmed that she had missed out on Rookie of the Year to rival Caitlin Clark.
Though while a whopping 98.5 percent of voters – who were made up of two local journalists from each WNBA market and a collection of national writers – selected her as their winner, it wasn’t a unanimous victory for the Fever sensation.
Clark was denied a clean sweep after one electorate controversially opted for Reese in the WNBA Rookie of the Year voting.
Incredibly, one voter out of 66 instead chose Reese as Rookie of the Year, despite the Chicago Sky forward failing to make it into the postseason while Clark inspired Indiana to their first playoff appearance since 2016.

Caitlin Clark was denied a Rookie of the Year clean sweep after one voter Reese
A number of fans were desperate to know who the mysterious electorate is, which led to several reporters taking to X to deny being the culprit.
Reese and the Chicago Sky failed to make the WNBA postseason, finishing 13-27 and one spot shy of the playoffs.
Her season was cut short after she suffered a broken wrist earlier this month ending her rookie campaign.
The Sky went on to miss the postseason for the first time since 2018, leading to the dismissal of coach Teresa Weatherspoon.
