Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark took her talents to the golf course on Wednesday, teaming up with world No. 1 women’s golfer Nelly Korda for a nine-hole round at Pelican Golf Club. Korda, returning to the course after a brief injury hiatus, was joined by Clark in an exciting pro-am event, which drew an extremely large crowd.

While Clark, an amateur and casual golfer, didn’t make every shot perfect and even came close to hitting a few spectators, she seemed to thoroughly enjoy herself and performed well for not an everyday golfer.

Clark had high praise for Korda, calling her “amazing” and acknowledging the immense skill required to play golf at the level Korda has achieved. “Golf is tough,” Clark admitted, recognizing the challenge of competing at the highest level.

Following the LPGA event, Clark was pleasantly surprised with a gift that had been three years in the making. Years ago, she had reached out to the LPGA on social media requesting a sweatshirt but had received no response.

To her delight, three years later, Clark finally received the sweatshirt she had asked for — a long-awaited gift that made the experience even more special.

Caitlin Clark is enjoying a well-deserved break from the basketball court, taking time to attend various events and unwind. She’s been spotted at an Indiana Pacers game, Taylor Swift concerts, and even college basketball games where her boyfriend coaches at Butler.

Clark is coming off one of the most historic rookie seasons in WNBA history. She was named Rookie of the Year, led the Fever to the playoffs for the first time since 2016, and earned a spot on the All-WNBA First Team.

She led the entire league in assists in her first season, and after the Olympic break, many considered her one of the top two or three players in the league based on her consistent performances. During the final month of the regular season, she was honored with Player of the Month and two Player of the Week awards.

Clearly enjoying her time off, and even got to spend some time with one of the best female golfers of all-time, Annika Sörenstam, which was a surreal moment for Clark.
