Kayla Nicole and Taylor Swift are on the same page! Shortly after the high-stakes debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump ended, Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, and his current girlfriend, U.S. pop icon Taylor Swift, publicly supported Harris for the upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential elections. This move surprised fans of the Kansas City Chiefs TE, as both his love connections share similar political preferences.
During the 90-minute debate on Tuesday evening, the two presidential candidates clashed over various social issues. Being an active voter, Nicole urged her fans to research these critical issues, sharing the same message of civic engagement as Swift.
Despite her swift schedule, Taylor took to Instagram to remind her followers of the importance of researching candidates’ policies. Alongside a picture of her pet, she wrote a thoughtful post, encouraging Americans to make educated choices, “I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make.”
She emphasized how crucial it is to understand what each candidate stands for, stating, “As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.”
Similarly, Kayla Nicole shared a video post on Instagram, asking her followers to tune into the debate and vote. She wrote on her profile, “If you are of voting age, turn this on right now so that you can see it for yourself. All I have to say is vote. Vote. Vote.” Nicole, like Swift, expressed her disappointment that the candidates failed to clearly outline their policy positions, saying, “I personally don’t think that was achieved during this debate.”
These posts show that both Nicole and Swift share similar values when it comes to politics. Beyond football, both have demonstrated unwavering support for Kelce’s Chiefs team recently. Despite her 2022 breakup with Kelce, Nicole still cheers for the NFL’s best team.
A few days back on September 5, 2024, she posted on social media celebrating the Chiefs’ 27-20 win against the Baltimore Ravens, saying, “Lol. Gotta love football.” Meanwhile, Swift, who has been in the spotlight for her relationship with Travis Kelce, made an appearance at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on the Chiefs.
Regardless of any personal conflicts, both Kayla Nicole and Taylor Swift have voiced their support for Kamala Harris.
Travis Kelce’s sweetheart Taylor Swift and Nicole support Harris for the upcoming election
Notably, Swift confirmed her support to vote for Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election, explaining in her post, “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”
Swift praised Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader” and voiced her belief that the country could achieve much more under calm leadership, rather than chaos.
