Tyreek Hill‘s arrest has left Travis Kelce’s ex fuming with anger and concern! WR Tyreek Hill’s recent altercation with Miami-Dade police officers has subjected Kayla Nicole to a trance. With the recent release of the body camera footage, that gives a detailed look into the entire confrontation, Nicole has joined the NFL world condemning the policing and racial profiling.
Social media influencer and Chiefs TE ex gf, Kayla Nicole, took to her Twitter handle, that girl., @iamkaylanicole, to reshare the disturbing body footage involving Hill’s arrest. Resharing the original post by Complex, she went on to speak about her immediate concern as evident in the caption. Kelce’s ex, Nicole, wrote, “The ptsd that’s triggered from footage like this insane. Because we are all well aware of how this could have ended. Thank God we didn’t have to witness the life of another black man turned into a statistic at the hands of police.”
Though at this point in time, Travis hasn’t made any comments on the topic, his ex Nicole reminisced about other such incidents, and it instantaneously triggered her PTSD. Hence, understanding the gravity of the incident, it prompted Nicole to call out the action of unchecked policing.
While Tyreek Hill was driving his McLaren 720S coupe, the motorcycle officers had pulled him over for speeding. Informing him of the speeding violation, the situation turned grave, as Hill responded, “Don’t knock on my window like that. Give me my ticket, bro, so I can go. Do what you have to do,” before rolling up his window.
Hill was also pleading with the officers, as he was pulled out of the car. “I just had surgery on my knee! I just had surgery on my knee! Chill bro, chill bro,” he said. Despite recognising Hill, the officers continued to use force against him. Hill remained respectful throughout despite the treatment, as he quipped, “I’m just being a Black man, that’s it. I’m just being Black in America, bruh. … I’m just being a Black man in America, bruh, with a nice car.”
Now, the NFL world has launched an uproar to condemn the incident.
NFL world supports Tyreek Hill
Besides Kayla Nicole, other popular voices have joined to vouch for Hill. The Miami Dolphins published a statement that criticized officers’ behavior. They called it “overly aggressive and violent” while they praised their decision to release the footage. Hill also later called for systemic change, adding, “Let’s make a change.” He further added, “I believe in bringing people together because that’s my purpose in life.”
Jevon Holland, Hill’s teammate, and Karl-Anthony Towns, an NBA player, also supported Hill. Even the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) expressed concern over the incident. All of them together have come forth to advocate changes and strive towards better social justice.
