Pia Wurtzbach is filled with gratitude as she looked back on her first Haute Couture Week experience in Paris.

In an Instagram reel, the former Miss Universe gave a glimpse of what she considers a “special milestone,” where she attended four shows by top fashion designers.

“As we close another exhilarating fashion week season, the memories flood in — from elevator mishaps to barely making it on time. Amidst the fun and chaos, my team and I found joy in shared laughs, fun meals, and hurried outfit changes in the car,” Wurtzbach said.

“This Couture Week marked a special milestone for me (it was my first) — immersed in breathtaking gowns, intricate details, and sheer opulence that kept me excited and fully immersed in the whole experience,” she added.

In the reel, Wurtzbach acknowledged being a newcomer in the Fashion Week scene, and at one point admitted that she does not live and breathe fashion.

“I live and breathe fashion,” she said, only to quickly add, “No, I don’t. I live and breathe having fun.”

“Honestly, I didn’t think that I would be doing Couture Week this soon and be able to experience this — to sit down and see all the world-renowned designers and their designs,” she said toward the end of the clip. “I’m just so grateful that I got to experience this.”

Wurtzbach joined Fashion Week events in Paris and Milan for the first time in 2023.

She has always dreamed of breaking into the European fashion scene, as revealed by her husband, travel entrepreneur Jeremy Jauncey.
