Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively can’t put a price on their kids’ childcare.

While chatting with E! Newsalongside his Deadpool & Wolverine costar Hugh Jackman, Reynolds teased that his and Lively’s good friend Taylor Swift is definitely not a cheap babysitter for their kids James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and a fourth baby born in 2023.

After Jackman joked with Reynolds about Swift babysitting their kids, the dad of four quipped back with a comment about how much it would cost to hire the superstar.

“The cost of that is…” he told Jackman. “I believe the accountant said, ‘Cost-prohibitive.’ But I think what he meant was, ‘Cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I’m-no-longer-your-accountant.’”

While the name of the If actor and A Simple Favor actress’ youngest child remains unknown, Reynolds jokingly said in May that he was waiting for Swift to come up with one.

While appearing on the Today show on May 13, co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb inquired about the child’s name.

“Taylor Swift keeps dropping it into lyrics!” said Guthrie, likely referring to Swift’s song “Betty” from the 14-time Grammy winner’s 2020 album Folklore, which includes his older three kids’ names.

After Guthrie asked Reynolds whether the new baby’s name is anywhere on Swift’s new album The Tortured Poets Department, he joked, “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name is, and I’ll say this: We’re still waiting.”

He added, “She’s a prolific writer — I mean, what are we doing here? And ‘lazy’ is not a word I’d attach to Taylor.”
