Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is a woman of many talents, and she’s proving as much amid the WNBA offseason. Just ask her new coach … golf coach that is.

After the Fever suffered an early playoff exit, Clark said that she plans to become a professional golfer during the offseason. While the Indiana sharpshooter was joking, her love for golf is real.

Interestingly, it seems like Clark has a knack for the sport, which former LPGA player Martha Foyer-Faulconer attested to.

With Clark preparing to compete at the LPGA’s The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican on November 13, she got Foyer-Faulconer’s help to improve her swing. And after a few sessions, the ex pro-golfer has some high praises for the 22-year-old.

“It’s also part of her DNA because she’s going to do things well,” Foyer-Faulconer told Golfweek, as she complimented Clark’s work ethic amid the “drastic changes” she has made in her golf game.

“She wants to be as good as she can in everything she touches. She’s very driven and passionate. It’s fun to work with her.”

Martha Foyer-Faulconer also shared how Clark has a natural talent for the sport, something that not even grit and determination can make up for.

“Some of this stuff you can’t teach people. They just either have it or they don’t,” she added.

With all the praise she’s getting, it will certainly be interesting to watch Caitlin Clark when she plays at The ANNIKA next month. For those not in the know, she’ll be teaming up with current world No. 1 Nelly Korda and golf legend Annika Sorenstam in the Pro-Am event.
