On Instagram, the actress shared a photo of Dom eating sushi during their date night and recalled how she started ~falling~ for him.

“We ordered sushi to celebrate our trip to Japan on Nov.3, 2019,” she wrote. “Not our anniversary, but that was the day we saw each other in a different light other than being platonic friends. For me, that day was extraordinary.”

ICYMI, these friends-turned-lovers went on a ~spontaneous~ trip to Tokyo back in 2019. It all happened because Dom invited Bea to go to Zambales with their friends. The actress, however, couldn’t go because she had a trip to Japan. “Awww, sama ako,” Dominic told her, and she replied, “Tara.” The rest, as they say, is history!

“I still feel kilig whenever I’d remember that gaze he was giving me on the train while I was explaining to him the dream movie concept I had in my mind. No one’s listened to me so intently like that, like he was so interested in what I had to say. Parang nag [slow-mo] ang mundo at walang ibang tao kundi kaming dalawa lang,” she recounted. “Cheers to more moments like that, hun. I love you @dominicroque.”

After that trip, Bea revealed that they dated for “more than a year” before making things ~official~.
