Taylor Swift has chosen to maintain her friendship with Brittany Mahomes despite recent controversy surrounding Mahomes’ liking of a Donald Trump post on Instagram.

In fact, their friendship is likely getting closer.

Travis Kelce’s popstar girlfriend is said to be so close to the Mahomes’ family that their children have already started calling her something cute.

The Sun reported this week that Taylor Swift spends so much time around Mahomes’ daughter Sterling and son Bronze that they have given her a cute nickname.

“She is very loving and caring about them,” the insider said.

And the affection is mutual, the source continued, with Sterling starting to call the 14-time Grammy winner “Auntie Taylor.”

NFL fans had speculated that Swift might distance herself from Mahomes after the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes allegedly liked a Donald Trump post.

It does not appear she is letting politics come between her and the Mahomes’ family.

Just before the 2024 NFL season kicks off, Taylor Swift reunited with her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, at her Rhode Island mansion.

Swift closed out the European leg of her “Eras” concert tour, and Kelce closed out training camp, marking the first time the famous couple had been together in over a month.

Despite what Swifties may have wanted, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, flew out for the weekend getaway to meet with them.

Brittany and Swift grew close after the 14-time Grammy winner started dating her husband’s best friend in the summer of 2023.

Before heading to Rhode Island, Brittany caught major backlash for “liking” an Instagram post from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, which laid out his campaign goals.

While Taylor Swift has not made her political stance clear this year, she did have a scathing opinion of the former President back in 2020, which leads you to believe that she leans toward the Democratic side.
