Jonathan Owens responds to Simone Biles’ farewell message on social media ahead of the NFL season beginning.

As Chicago Bears defensive back Jonathan Owens gears up for the start of the NFL season, it also means less time with his wife Simone Biles.

Biles had one of the greatest outings ever at the Paris Olympics for the United States. Taking home three gold and one silver medal in the process. She supplanted her legacy as potentially the greatest U.S. gymnast of all time.

She has seven gold medals and 11 total throughout her Olympic career. However, we may have seen the last of her as she left the door open on whether she would be competing in the 2028 Olympics that are being held in Los Angeles. During the LA games, Biles would be in her early 30s.

Nonetheless, she has finally has a little bit of a break, but the instant she gets time off, her husband has to go compete for the Bears, and they exchanged farewell messages after having to be away from each other over the next few weeks.

The two are truly a power couple and have taken the internet by storm over the last few months. Owens supported Biles throughout the entire Olympic Games and now expect her to do the same for Owens throughout the NFL season.

The Bears open the season on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans in Chicago and then follow that up with a road trip to Houston to take on the Texans in Week 2. Owens is expected to be a vital piece to the Bears defense this season.
