Jason Kelce retired from the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason as one of the most successful and beloved players in recent team history.
The former Cincinnati Bearcats star and brother of Kansas City Chiefs living legend Travis Kelce has been busy since his retirement from the NFL, most recently attempting a field goal kick on ESPN’s popular ‘College Gameday’ Saturday morning TV show.
Jason Kelce and his brother Travis’ podcast ‘New Heights’ was the second-highest ranked sports podcast in the United States as of this month and serves as a showcase for Jason’s larger-than-life, outgoing personality.
On Thursday, November 7, the eldest of the two Kelce brothers sat down for a crossover that few saw coming: a session with longtime Fleetwood Mac and solo vocalist Stevie Nicks for the purpose of creating a new Christmas song.
“So this song, you can always put more harmonies on it,” Nicks says to Jason Kelce prior to a harmonizing session between the two stars of their respect professions.
“Maybe they’ll be an open door,” the duo sings as part of their session before continuing into a further display of Christmas music lyricism.
“There’s your harmony,” Nicks said to Jason Kelce.
“You have no idea how cool that just was,” Jason Kelce replied to to the 1978 Album Of The Year Award winning Fleetwood Mac lead singer.
A person in the background is heard saying, “You gotta lay some harmonies down on something,” to which Jason Kelce replied, “That’s right, that’s right. Well, I gotta learn to harmonize first.”

Nicks and Kelce’s song is being recorded as part of the upcoming album ‘A Philly Special Christmas,’ which features Jason Kelce and Nicks along with current Eagles linemen Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata.
The name references a famous play executed during Super Bowl LII as Eagles tight end Trey Burton threw a touchdown pass to quarterback Nick Foles in Philadelphia’s 41-33 win over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
