Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese sent a message to legendary U.S. gymnast Simone Biles.

U.S. gymnast Simone Biles was trending on Thursday night for her appearance at the Chicago Bulls game alongside her husband Jonathan Owens. The couple is in town ahead of Sunday’s NFL game between the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots at Soldier Field.

Owens plays safety for the Bears, and his wife, Biles, is often in attendance to cheer him on. The same goes for Owens when his wife is starring in her sport, as he was publicly supportive of Biles at the 2024 Paris Olympics when she added gold medals in the individual all-around, team all-around and vault events.

One of the most accomplished athletes of all time, Biles receives support and praise from around the sports world. This includes a recent comment from Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, who sent a strong two-word message to the 11-time Olympic medalist on Instagram.

“FACE EATS,” Reese commented under a picture of Biles.

Recently finishing her first WNBA season, Reese averaged 13.6 points and a league-best 13.1 rebounds in 34 appearances for the Sky. Breaking the WNBA’s single-season rookie double-double record, Reese finished second in Rookie of the Year voting behind Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.

A superstar since her time at LSU, Reese’s popularity extends beyond women’s basketball. The 6-foot-3 forward has public friendships with major celebrities, and while not much is known about the relationship between her and Biles, this Instagram comment was very complimentary from Reese.
